06/01/2015 8:53 pmThis place is great. My food may have been a touch salty and spicy, but I would much rather have slightly over seasoned than bland. It was great! Crawfish Dianne and Chicken Dianne are fantastic. Great fried green tomatoes and pretty good bread. Plus the location is awesome too and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this to anyone. They give HUGE portions so you may be able to share! |

05/10/2015 12:07 amCame to charlotte for C.I.A.A. This was one of our best meals while in charlotte. We pretty much ordered the entire meal and shared it all family style... It was pretty dope. Cant wait to come back |

05/05/2015 4:00 pmGreat food, awful customer service. Sat by the bar and after almost 10 minutes of no one acknowledging me neither the bartender which looked at me a couple times nor the staff that walked pass me I had to go downstairs and ask for a table. Food was great as always but then asked the waiter to bring me my check since I was in a hurry to get back to work. Waited almost 10 minutes then he said the check will be right out when he then turned around and proceeded to take another tables order who had a party of 7. The other waitress on the floor had already cleared 3 tables that got there after me. The waiter returned with the bill and instead of running my card went to another table to take their order. I was fed up and went to the manager which he never apologized and instead made excuses on to-go orders taking a long time and backing the kitchen up. I have been to Cajun Queen a few times but this was my last. When a manager never apologizes and instead says "let's get you checked out of here" is when I take my business elsewhere. |

04/04/2015 3:01 pmHad dinner on 4-4-15 with three other people, had reservations, came early, but was seated right away. Fried pickle started the evening and was very good. We tried the Diane entree with chicken and was good, sauce a little watery. Good portions. Etouffee with crawfish, chicken, shrimp was ok, but nothing great. Roux ( sauce) was bland, small sausage was added, but crawfish was to small to taste, chicken was soft, tender, shrimp was on the hard side due to size (small at best). Overall, service was very good (Brandon). Having eaten in New Orleans you cant compare this to that, but its not New Orleans. Would go again. Plan on spending at least 25.00 per person ( without booze). |

02/08/2015 12:08 amHave eaten here several times over the last year. Food good, Service good, Parking sucks. My big issue is with the crawfish.... its from China. Ok, its February and LA crawfish are scarce this early in the season. But they are always from China here. Even Razoos has crawfish from LA most of the time. So I have to order shrimp etouffee, (shrimp from the gulf) SHRIMP!!!!! etouffee...... makes me mad just to type it. No good crawfish = 3 star max for a "Cajun" restaurant. |

06/26/2015 11:51 pmNightly live jazz that's "very good" – and "very loud" – lends a "fun" "French Quarter" feel to this Elizabeth N'Awlins bastion serving up "the best Cajun food in Charlotte"; solid service, moderate prices and a "comfortable", colorful setting add to the allure, and if some find it a little too "noisy" in the upstairs bar/dining area, there's a terrace overlooking the park as well as a quieter downstairs dining room. |
