Always come here for Vietnamese Sandwiches. The BBQ Pork you must try! Good to get some iced coffee and some side dishes on the side. Haven't tried their candies or other items, but it's a must for me. Very cheap!

I love Cali Baguette normally, but the customer service at this one is so ridiculously bad that it is almost comical (except for the fact that at the time I was seething with anger). I was in such a good mood on that particular Sunday too. I decided to buy my family Cali-Baguette for lunch. First of all, after ordering two BBQ pork sandwiches and one ham and egg sandwich (total of three) and then two more thai teas. I get to the window and realize we're already cruising for a bruising because she only has two sandwiches bagged in her hand and then I cringe at the high charges for the sandwiches... apparently $10 just for two sandwiches, since I was sitting waiting wishing for the third and our drinks, she shoots me a puzzled look. Of course I ask for my third sandwich and the drinks...

She apologizes and says she mis-heard me, she says some things I can't understand, so I ask again for the ham and egg sandwich... since that is what I gathered I was missing.

So then she charges me another $5 for the ham and egg sandwiches and I mention the drinks and she goes and makes them, by this point the charges don't seem justified because I'm spending almost $20 for three sandwiches and two drinks. I'm still willing to give them a HUGE benefit of the doubt because I'm not a total jerk. I am about to drive off, but I'm really just so upset that I park and I go inside. They seriously are all staring at me now with bewilderment and the girl that helped me had the worst looking scared and confused face and while I'm trying to explain how dissatisfied I am to another employee. I can see in her eyes that she really isn't understanding and starts walking around back and forth spewing obscenities in Vietnamese. She keeps muttering that "I only charge you .75 cent extra, that not much" (yeah but in this day and age every cent counts, and what the hell are we arguing about the over charges -- how is it ok that you are overcharging any amount anyway, that's MY MONEY YOU ARE STEALING!!!!)

She offered to remake the sandwiches which at the time I didn't know where terribly wrong and of course at this point with this lady spewing obscenities I didn't want to risk them spitting in the sandwiches or whatever they do. Like I told her, I don't understand why if they make the mistakes why I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT? WTF kind of customer service is that... OH, so get this.... EVEN WORSE, I realized why I got charged so much when I got home... ALL THE SANDWICHES had ham, BBQ pork, AND eggs... Just plain stupid!

Banh mi sandwiches on point!!! Bread isn't always super fresh but you know they made it that day. Cash only but you don't need more then $5 for a great tasting sandwich form the drive thru :-) I personally always come here when I am in the area and don't have time to sit down at A Cahu across the street. Love this place!!!

The banh mi is excellent! Definitely worth going back. If you pay by credit, they will charge you 50 cents extra on top of your order, so it is better to pay with cash. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the bread is fresh. Overall, the quality of ingredients make it worth 5 stars. This is a sandwich shop that serves good sandwiches without the hassle of getting out of your car. The drive thru is very convenient.

Yum, yum, yum! Fresh bread, quality ingredients, cheap price, what could beat that combination? I don't understand how they make a profit selling these sandwiches. They are all homemade and only $3.50 each!? I get a sandwich, usually the BBQ Pork, and a couple of spring rolls and my meal is under $5. That is just ridiculous for how good the food is, I really can't believe it!
