Friendly staff, hot food, clean facility. This is the OG Camp Washington chili, which is a must see / visit if visiting Cincinnati. Historic and easy. Enjoyed reading some of the newspaper articles on the wall of course the food was great and relatively inexpensive which might you could try multiple things.

My wife has never had cincinnati style chilli before. Heading back through cincinnati on our way home she was interested in trying it. We searched and found camp washington would be the only one open. After reading reviews we were unsure......thank goodness we tried it. IT WAS AMAZING! It was fast and our service was very good. I had the 4 way. She had the 3 way. We also had the cheese fries. Everything was very tasty and just what we were craving. A new favorite has been found!

Nice, traditional diner experience. Food was good.

Service, while friendly, was bizarrely slow for a chili parlor, however -- or for any diner.

Depends on what time you decide to go eat on which type of service you'll have. I have a few favorite servers there but I'm sure that's anywhere. The chili has a very strong bold taste. I think when it comes to Cincinnati chili ,you like it sweet like skyline, or bold like camp chili. I personally like skyline. I'm in the area so I eat here alot. The cheese fries and a BLT w/ hard boiled egg is my regular and a coconut creme pie to take home for later. The fries aren't anything great they're just fries. I think they cook the bacon in the morning so the later you go the harder it becomes. One night I could barely chew it, it was like trying to chew concrete. The breakfast though is absolutely amazing. Which to be honest if a restaurant can't serve a good breakfast they shouldn't be open, it's the easiest meal to make. They have a shift of cooks that arent very good i think its late at night. I just try and go when the regular cooks are in. Most of the time I go in and the waitress I usually get is amazing and the food is good. Again, I'm in the area and refuse to eat Wendy's over and over on nights I don't cook, and there isn't the best of selection in this area.. I don't know if I'm just used to Cincinnati chili so I don't really get the big hype about it but maybe because people from out of town like the boldness instead of the sweeter chili we have. I crave their coconut creme pie and make a stop through the drive thru even on days I don't order a meal. I love it. I wouldn't suggest ordering a big meal through the drive thru though, always go in and atleast carry-out. Anyways good food and good service.
