Inventive desserts, cool atmosphere, and a stack of board games makes this a good place to hang out with a group of friends.

Candybar is a desert and cocktail place (yes no food!). Located in a good neighborhood and a perfect place after a good dinner. The candle lit ambiance makes it a perfect place for birthdays, date, other celebrations. They have a variety of board and card games for you to enjoy as you gulp these amazing deserts. We ordered the Lavender Honey Creme Fraiche Semifreddo,
it is served with Nutella Powder and Almond Brittle on the side. It was like an icecream sprinkled with nutella powder. My favorite was the Big Francesco's Tiramisu.
Unlike traditional Tiramisu, this was like a cake with the Mascarpone cheese giving it the softness to melt in your mouth. Will come back to try the other things on the menu.

Food:

This is a place mostly for "girls nights outs" or city girls treating themselves or a date. I came with a group of friends and I thought the desserts and experience were just ok.

We came early on a Sunday night so luckily there was no wait and sat a table near the cashier/bar. My friend ordered some kind of fruity wine drink and we got her a strawberry pudding for her birthday. My other friends and I shared the banana split.
The desserts were decent but overpriced.

I was kinda upset that the dessert sampler did not apply to groups of 3 or more or had some weird restriction. Also the service was really slow. I was not really charmed by the place but I can see lots of women thinking its really cute.

Food:

One of my favorite dessert place in the city! I have a huge sweet tooth and my body is definitively paying for it.

My favorite dessert there is the strawberry limeade, ice cream sandwich (melon ice cream & macaroons!) and my favorite drinks are 50/50 & lemon shot because I'm such a light weight.

Taking off one star because of the parking. Parking is horrendous!

Great place!
Especially during happy hour- $3 Sangria!

The desserts are perfect and the place is pretty good for a date or even a smaller group of friends.
Quick, attentive service and great desserts and drinks.

I would recommend anyone this place who likes sweets/desserts
