02/23/2013 10:19 pmDinner at Canestaro is nothing less than a great dining experience. Clean, great service, wonderful ambiance, and of course the food is out of this world. I haven't eaten anything there that I did not absolutely enjoy! The owner Steve Canestaro is a perfect host and makes sure that everyone has a great dining experience there. My personal favorites are the antipasto salad, and chicken parm, but it's all great. Check out Canestaro, and I guarantee you will wish you had discovered it sooner! |

12/09/2012 7:45 pmAwesome local italian place. Very convenient for Red Sox games or for staying around the Fenway area. The service is great, and their bruschetta is amazing. Lobster ravioli is also a must try. |

02/08/2012 9:22 pmI love Canestaro!!! I have been going here for years! The service is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable and the food is soooooo tasty. I don't think I have ever had a bad dish. The tortellini bellisimo is by far my favorite! This place is perfect for a night out with friends, a date, or just to go sit at the bar and relax. |

03/03/2009 11:26 pmWe picked Canestaro for lunch because it was close to BU, had four stars, and a menu that appealed to the five of us. The service was timely and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and the rest of the family split a couple of large pizzas. The chicken was completely unimpressive; it tasted like chicken and mushrooms sauteed in olive oil and linguine soaked in oil. I couldn't detect any Marsala wine sauce. The pizza was okay, but nothing special. The bottom line, but a mile away is Boston's North End and there are many great Italian places located there. |
