When we had no reservations on the list we had to wait a long time, got NO drinks, NO service, NO silverware, NO menu. It was the worst place ever.

I had the fried chicken, It was awful, the breading was not crunchy at all, it tasted like it was fried in fish batter and it had no spice, the chicken breast was not cooked all the way, the baked spuds tasted like a used sponge, the pasta alfredo, was dry with no flavor the pasta tasted like a dirty shoe string it was by far the worst food i had ever eaten,I served 11 yrs in the US ARMY and this food should not be served , it was terrible.

Food was ok, rather bland. Prices are high. Service was ok, but not outstanding. Rather disappointing. We won't be going back in the future.

We had not seen our dear friends from the Omaha area for over 3 years and boy did we pick the night for it! January 6, 2010, one of the worst blizzards I can remember with wind gusts over 35 mph and wind chills of minus 15 degrees. Driving was miserable and even though we made it to our reservation an hour early most local establishments had already closed shop. At the Venice Inn we were welcomed with open arms! There were only two other couples seated when we arrived at 6:15 pm. We had the whole place practically to ourselves.

I couldn't believe the beautiful salad bar that had been prepared for what was obviously going to be a very slow night for business. Everything fresh and delicious. The breaded pepper rings were to die for! The lasagna, baked manicotti, prime rib and rib eye steak were all superb! Absolutely perfect!

As we sat drank and enjoyed this wonderful meal and great company of our friends the weather outside continued to get worse and worse. We were the last customers that walked into Caniglia's that night but we weren't made to feel the least bit rushed. In fact we were shocked when we finally left at about 8:30 pm to see just how much the weather had deteriorated.

Thank you so much to Jerry (owner) and Jennifer (waitress) for their wonderful service and hospitality. They made what has become an all-too-rare occasion to spend time with our dear friends into a most memorable evening. Thank you so much for letting us spend so much time together on such a terrible night for weather and business.

And to top it off, great food and prices too! We can't wait to come back.
