Food was bland and under seasoned. Service was slow, I'm pretty sure there were only 2 people serving the entire restaurant.

While the "new" Canterbury is different, I appreciate that it is locally owned and they've tried to become a good neighbor and part of the community. And the charred broccolini is delicious!

Walked in with 2 others looking for lunch. No staff visible. Sat down. No menus. Went to the bar to ask for a menu. No menus, one bar person busy mixing drinks 3 miles away at the other end of the bar. We walked out again and went to a place two doors down.

The place lost some of its dingy charm since the 2014 remodel but it still retains its tall ceilings and various spaces to hang out. There's a lot of TVs here so it's great for a sports event.
