Stopped in the one at the airport. I got a mocha and the chocolate thr use is fine but there espresso is terrible. Barely drank any of mine and tossing it :(

They had a caramel mocha on their menu so I thought I'd give it a try. The woman behind the counter proceeded to heat some milk & then mix in some powder. The hell? Since when does mocha come from a powder? Whatever. I grabbed my "mocha" and left and took a sip. It tasted like chai! I went back in thinking she maybe just screwed up order but she told me she my drink from the "mocha caramel" tub so that's what I got. Yeah. Don't see myself going back.

I used to come by this place when I was in college at GW and now that I am out of school and working in DC this place has gone down significantly. It is owned by foreigners who are not from this country and clearly do not understand the value of customer service.

The food is sub par and not good at all. I was just there last week and had a sandwich that subsequently ended up falling on the ground after it was handed to me. Instead of making me a new sandwich they insisted that I buy a new one. The Indian/Middle Eastern woman that owns the place just looked at me like an idiot with her bluetooth and insisted that I buy a new sandwich because it was my fault. I dont care what anyone says, the customer is always right. This will be my last visit to Capitol Grounds. They clearly don't know how to make good food anymore and their service is unacceptable. I don't know what kind of animals come here and think they can run a coffee shop but they clearly don't belong dealing with people.
