During my visit to this Captain D's restaurant, I was greeted or rather told "what you want" twice in this particular visit by a African American cashier by the name of Vanessa.

The conductivity by this cashier at Captain D's was extremely rude and disrespectful from time begin of my order all the way til I exited the restaurant.

It was the evening and there wasn't many customers inside so our orders were complete rather quick; the cashier girl Vanessa stares at me calling me over repeatedly to pick up a order as I were getting ready table and condiments at the side station by the fountain.

Knowingly she handed me the incorrect order, and started calling out my grilled tilapia meal that I justed ordered 5-7 minutes ago while walking around the restaurant and then shrugged her arms as 'oh well' probably to discard, but conveniently the manager was near for me to inform her that the cashier (intentionally) gave me the wrong order and which was the correct one.

In between eating my meal, I had to get refills from behind the counter by Vanessa since the soda selection isn't completely at the outside service station/fountain area.

This rude, immaturely childish cashier repeatedly filled my cup up with ice more then soda, when chance gave to verbally interact with coworkers near her and in the kitchen, she deliberately shouted saliva all over my open cup in their exchange and even grabbed a lid putting her fingers all under it which I admonished her to don't put a lid on as I got one from the fountain area instead.

Her filling the cup with ice, and etc mishaps were making sense as I'm not from Birmingham and never met this cashier a day in my life that she had a attitude problem and some issue has her bitter and it's starting to convey publicly at work.
Before I left I went to get one last refill, in which courteously I asked her that after she would attend the order from the fellow customer who had just came in, if she may refill my cup one last time before I departed.
Her retort was "I had enough of him can you see what he want girl", which was directed toward an assistant manager who professionally and politely took the time to do so, which I complimented her on her patient conduct.

04/17/2014 I came back to this same Captain D's and speak with two African American short, stout employees in question over the name of the rude, disrespectful cashier from yesterday to fill this exact complaint out.
They both were unwillingly cooperative to give Vanessa's name, which one was a assistant manager who claimed she just started working here for a month now yet she was able to recognize another employee sitting a few seats down from me that works the same shift as the rude cashier from yesterday which indicated to me she was lying.

...They were basically covering for the misconduct of a fellow employee.

Vanessa coincidentally shortly dropped by which is how I saw her name tag.

I come back to Captain D's to make a order around 6:30 pm later that night. Second shift...this is where the DYSFUNCTION continues unto a tremendously, disgusting point.

I go up to the counter area to place an order around 6:34-35, and I notice one of the cooks who was conversing with the dysfunctional cashier from yesterday the most kept glancing up towards the direction of myself and other customers.
I notice he suddenly had either cheese sticks, banana Foster's cheesecake bites or fish sticks - some breaded food item in his hand that he put near or on his MOUTH (whether he licked or breathed over the item I can't exactly tell but it was level to his mouth), in which he hesitated in his movement towards going into the left part of the kitchen when he realized that he was still partially visible to the sight of us in the dining area. From the lobby's perspective he moved into a discrete location to the left part of the kitchen out of view for a few moments, reemerged and DROPPED the same breaded objects into the DEEP FRYER.

At this point the conductivity here at this particular Captain D's establishment is unacceptable.

I went through the drive thru and placed two separate orders. The woman who took my order was very nice and she also took my payment at the window. I waited at the window for a little over five minutes and another "gentlemen brought" me a bag of food and said bye. I waited at the window til he returned and informed him that not only did I have two orders but the one you gave me isn't even mines. So I waited another five minutes for both of my orders, received my food, and left after he acknowledged me by saying "Here you go girl". I was livid! Got a few blocks down the road and realized that due to my anger I had not received any of my drinks and had to return. The woman who took my order came to window and apologized for him and gave me my drinks. Nothing additional was offered and I will not return.
