02/28/2014 8:49 pmI really don't know what happened to the good food and the good service this restaurant use to achieve. I've been in 100 times in the last 10 years. This last year it just seem like no one cares about food quality, service, or cleanliness. I am so disappointed that this restaurant changed ownership. I tried it 5 times in the last six months with hopes that they would straighten everything out. I'm sorry to say after all these years I will not be returning. Sad, who ever took this place over is going to run it into the ground. Why do people fix stuff that's not broke. I'll never understand. |

07/31/2011 9:16 pmBAD BAD BAD....The lighting is too dark. I understand they want to set a mood but it shouldn't be the kind of low lighting you would find in a strip club. dining room needs more light for 7pm maybe a candle on the table would help set the mood better. After we were seated it took 10 minutes to order our drinks. Food is way over priced. $16 for lasagna is ridiculous. 15 minutes after being seated we still hadn't gotten drinks or bread. When we got our drinks the cups were huge, like big gulp huge. We had a calzone for dinner fearing that the pasta probably wasn't fresh. It wasn't even a passable attempt at a calzone. Can't tell what was off about it but the sausage definitely wasn't good and the cheese just seemed wrong. Keeping score, there was no part of the dinning experience that met or exceeded my expectations. This place is going down hill on Teflon skids. Its been better in the past, not much though. Kitchen nightmare eligible.....seriously, it is. |

01/10/2009 2:18 pmThe other night my girlfriend and I went to Cariera's for dinner. We had been there once before, the pizza was pretty good, no complaints. On this occasion we were seated fairly quickly, though the hostess seemed distracted. We were given menus and found what we wanted quickly because we were both very hungry. Several servers passed us by, but we remained patient. After at least 10-15 minutes of sitting there with no service, we were both irritated and promptly left to go somewhere else. We have no plans to return. |
