BEWARE! I had lunch left $6.00 tip, a one was added to tip, making it $16 tip. Called GM was told sorry would investigate it. I called bk and was told $10 would be reapplied to credit card. Never done! DO NOT RECOMMEND, I ate at the original Carriera's for 20 years. This new mgt are scammers.

I admit that after the restaurant changed ownership from the original owner both food and service went down hill, and we stopped using them as a lunch and dinner spot for over a year. I took a shot the last week and brought some clients in for lunch. They have made a 100% change. The Food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the manager was attentive. Since this first visit last week I have been in two more times with clients for lunch. I am happy to see them turn this around. We will continue to bring clients in. Thank-you for coming back to life! I assume the gentlemen in the picture is the manager, and I'm thinking he had a lot to do with putting this restaurant back on the map. Highly Recommended!

Our family was celebrating my daughter's graduation from UCF; she earned her Master's degree. What a marvelous experience! The food was superb! The waitress was very professional, providing service without interrupting the family conversation. I don't remember her name but she had blonde hair. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was reasonably priced. Even the wine was exceptional. We will definitely be back and I'll make sure to tell my friends to go & enjoy a authentic Italian meal and experience at Cariera's. Thank YOU!

We have went to this restaurant probably 5 times but this last time tonight will be the LAST time ever going there! My teenage son, my 18 month daughter and myself went there for dinner and everything was good up until they served my son completely RAW chicken parmesan and he would have probably eaten it had it not been for me asking for a piece for the baby (and sometimes he just cuts up food for her THANK GOD today I was going to) When I took it up to the waitress she took it back and did come over and asked if we wanted it recooked or was there something else he wanted - at that point dinner was mostly over so No and said she would take the RAW entrée of the bill! Not once did a manager or the chef or anybody come over and ask if my children ate any of the chicken or apologize for it! Totally unprofessional way to handle what could of been a serious situation! I don't know if it was handled so bad because they assumed I was a "single" mom because the other times when I have went there with my husband a manger has always come over to ask how the meal was and chat! So disappointed with what was a pretty good non-chain restaurant! When a serious situation is handled so badly I will not give it another chance!

Our dinner started well with a flavorful wedding soup. That was the only highlight of the night.

I ordered the chicken picante and it tasted like no lemons, wine nor capers which the menu said was the difference between this dish and chicken limone, were used. It was simply dripping in oil.

My dining companion asked if the pasta was dry because it looked so bad. It was not freshly cooked pasta. Looked and tasted more like a day old and exposed to air.

I don't send food back but did e-mail the manager when I got home. My complaint was never acknowledged. I wasn't looking for any compensation. An apology for and acknowlegement of lousy food was all. I guess they don't care.
