Great Tex Mex!! I grew up in Texas so I know! Nachos con Carne and Combo platter. Fantastic food and great service. Great margaritas. Definitely coming back!!!

Food:

Really great atmosphere, although the place is not always full of people. The appetizers rock. The tacos and other things are more mexican-style, where you put the food together yourself according to the helpings or ingredients you like. Generally tasty. But I like the appetizers the most! Great nachos and salsa too. Good service as well.

Food:

Please don't waist your money. I love Mexican Food but this place is way over charged and the food don't even taste good at all. The sauces that suppose to be served with food this restaurant charges extra money and the same restaurant just different location doesn't. The service is very very poor we had to wait for 20 min just to get our food. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one. I don't usually complaine but this place is just one of the worst and very expansive.

Food was good. First place I've seen here that has actual green chile. Got the rellenos, of course, and they were very good. Real sopapillas too boot. Margarita was excellent. Cost was affordable also.

My family and I have always dined at Carmelita's for mexican food for many years. We have always had great service even if we had a large party of 10 or a small party of 4. When I worked nearby my co-workers and I ate lunch there sometimes. There is enough variety on the menu to please every one and the prices are reasonable. we never walked away unsatisfied and are always willing to go back. we live in Largo now and we used to drive there from Dunedin because we couldn't find anything Mexican in Dunedin we liked.
