Food:

This is Dr Duane Martin here in Colorado Springs. Since I live up North I go to the Carabbas on Campus Drive at Woodmen and i-25. Carrabas is my most favorite restaurant ever and I am 62 years old and have traveled around the world I love eating at fine dining restaurants. I can't imagine any negative reports that I have seen regarding them. I guess it just shows that you can't please everybody.

I love their chicken marsala with Fettuccine Alfredo with their minestrone soup. I have encouraged my family and many others to try out Carabbas wherever they live and have taken them when I visit to show off my taste in fine dining. I have always been treated great at Carabbas and always like to share my Italian jokes with a Mgr. if there were a 10 star rating I would gladly give them that. Only one thing I would recommend to them is to tone down the salt in their Marsala Sauce and I have done a great deal to advise them of that.

This is the first time I've written a review. I moved to the Springs about 2 months ago. Because I didn't know anybody here and didn't know my way around, I Googled the area restaurants and for the first time ever I read some of the reviews. Guess I don't understand why people take the time to write negative restaurant reviews. If they felt their food and/or their service was not up to their standards, why didn't they ask to see the manager and resolve the matter then and there instead waiting until they got home, and sitting down at their computers?

Have always liked Carrabba's and have visited the location on Campus Drive 5-6 times already. Usually I'm alone and most often I eat at the bar. Allison, Chuck, Brendon and all the other bartenders have been great and the good food has matched the quality service. My second visit, Harry the manager, remembered me for some reason and came over to introduce himself. Each time I've returned, Harry's made a point of coming by the say hello. That's a nice touch that I don't often see at the other places I frequent. Sean is the same way. During my last visit, Sam dropped by to introduce himself and we had a nice conversation. He was so friendly I was tempted to order dessert. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. I'll be a Carrabba's customer for a long time, and now that I'm gotten to know some people, I'll bring them with me.

Food:

In my opinion, doesn't even deserve one star. My husband and I walked in to rude hostess's, waited at our table for 5 minutes before being greated and waited 10 minutes and didn't even receive the drinks we had ordered. Not to mention the place looked filthy.

We went to Olive Garden instead.

Food:

I just left here after trying to get in for over 2 hrs. I called at 330 to put my name on the list. I was told it would be an hour. I called back at 350 to check again. I get there and my name is not on the list. The guy comes up and says he put me on the list as if i called in and I show him on my phone that I called. 50 min later I asked how much longer. Im told another hour. So i remind the hostess of the conversation that was held with her and the guy since she was standing right there. She says 20 min. I left I understand you are busy but don't tell me 1 hour and make me wait for 2 and a half.

Food:

This place has really went downhill. Had dinner here about 4 months ago and the service was ok but the food was poorly made. Any white cream sauces were watery/milky. My wife had an alfredo sauce that had no flavor and had the consistency of milk. My kids had a pasta with cheese sauce and the same issue. There cooks don't know how to make cheese sauces. Very disappointed and will not go back to this location.
