05/05/2015 8:03 amGenerally we love Carrabba's, especially the location in Cary, but the last few times we've been to this location they seemed way understaffed. Saturday at 3 pm we were told that we'd have to wait 40 minutes for a table. My husband walked through the restaurant to the restrooms and observed that more that half of the tables were unoccupied and quite a few uncleaned. We ended up sitting at the bar along with several others who were given that option. Poor planning on the part of management. |

05/01/2015 2:20 pmA longtime fan of Carrabba's, I had never tried the Mahi Wulfe until last week and wow, what I've been missing! Best mahi I've ever had, bar none, uber fresh, thick and white, very tasty. The light breading was more like a light crust of panko, not at all like deep fried or covered a whole lot, was really good. Topped with their to-die-for lemon basil butter sauce, and that wood fired flavor, yum! I will say, don't get it for the artichokes topped ... not only is it literally a heart - just one, which server confirmed is normal - bet you my last nickel it came out of a can. Oh well, didn't diminish my love of the dish one bit, so no big deal. |

03/14/2014 8:08 pmThe food here is fine, and it is generally good service. But two out of the last times we have gotten curbside carryout, we have been told the food would be ready in 20-25 minutes and it has taken over an hour. The first time we were given a single free dessert for our order for a family of four, and the second time there was no reduction in the cost and no free items after pointing out that we had waited over an hour (70 minutes, to be exact). In the past, we went to the Durham 15/501 location several times a month and had great experiences. We moved to Raleigh a few years ago and have almost completely stopped going to Carrabba's now that this restaurant is so much closer and we have had several bad experiences. The staff has always been very polite, there just doesn't seem to be any consequence for wasting your time waiting for food. |

02/22/2014 8:48 pmMy husband and I are use to a more healthy way of eating and eating at nicer restaurants. I feel this is no different then an olive garden or texas roadhouse. Food is okay. My shrimp and spinach taste too buttery and sugary for my taste. We like our home cooking more then eating here. Maybe its a nice place to some, a step up from fast food. |
