Very convenient location and cozy interior. I had some salad and it was good enough. Like the service most.

I like Carrows. The waiters and watresses (especially) Sabrina was very nice and a good waitress. The breakfast was delicious. I got the corned beef and hash and it is nothing ike we get here in Maryland. The corned beef was fresh not out of a can. My other half got pot roast in the afternoon and just loved it. He also got the breakfast burrito which was huge and delicious. I have no complaints except for one Saturday we were there and we had another waitress. She was a big tall girl and had no desire to get what we needed. I ordered a muffin with my breakfast and no hash browns with my corned beef. Didn't get a muffin and she just brushed my hashbrowns off my plate and the plate looked terrible. One of her other tables the woman asked for coffee and she said "you're just gonna have to wait." Sabrina was there and she came over and apologized profusely for the horrible service of this waitress. She said I hope you come back. We did, but we never got to say goodbye to her because she was off the next two days and we had to leave to come home. So Sabrina, thanks for your great service and if we return to California we will be back to Carrows.

the customer service was awful. we walked in to a rather empty and slow time, we stood standing by the front for approx 3 minutes until someone finally showed us to a table. once we sat down they did not have any kids menus available and walked away. we waited over 6 minutes and nobody came to take our drink order not too mention after all the waiting we were ready to place our food order altogether.

The most disgusting food you can pay money for. Just go down the street to the 24 hr wendys and save yourself the time, money, and Imodium. We got the chicken parmigiana and i can tell you with 100% certainty that the Lean Cuisine version is much better.

I like Carrows because breakfast entrees and the dinners I've had have always been quite good for the price. Meatloaf, potroast and even the prime rib are good examples. I even seek them out when I travel on business.

We've eaten at the Carrows location in San Jose on Saratoga Avenue, usually later in the evening, several times, and it has been reasonable quality every time - until our September 17th visit. It was late, about 11pm, and we wanted a snack. We ordered a couple of shakes and the Buffalo Wings. The shakes were good as always. The wings, however, were horrid! Truly, this was the worst thing I've ever had in a restaurant (no exaggeration). They were inedible, and I didn't. They were soggy, spongy in texture and drenched in tobassco sauce - obviously from frozen. This item needs to be removed from the menu. The waitress offered no consolation, but I tipped her 15% regardless because I figured this wasn't her fault. This "snack" entree cost about $8 for 8 pieces - not worth arguing about, but this bad experience left a wretched taste in my mouth. I'm not sure that I will return. Too bad (I'm giving this experience 1-star only bc there is no lesser option. In general, my previous meals rated a solid 3-star rating).
