Best authentic Puerto Rican food in NYC, best part that is really cheap as well. They have a decent size of food to order; however, the only downside is that the place is small and is cash only.

BEST mofongo in NY. And I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Oh, it may also be the best mofongo in PR. Adela is always there peeling garlic and hugging her clients. This place is home.

Absolutely the best and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine in the Lower East Side (Loisaida) Neighborhood! For those who crave abuelita's home-made food, this is the place to come!

Oh, Casa Adela, sigh* The best food I had in NY, and that is a lot to say. Authentic, savory, delicious, in an environment that although a bit rough, houses the true essence of that neighborhood, before the developers moved in.
Casa Adela remains, now and forever, the "fonda de la esquina". Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic food. Left it to the staff to pick something nice and unique and they did, and it was delicious.
