02/28/2016 3:54 amWe ate dinner here while staying at The Mayo, it was a quick walk down the street less than a block a way. The prices were reasonable, the food was great, the customer service had a lot to be desired though. When we walked in we were asked how many were in our party by 2 different people before finally being sat. Once sat we were then asked by 3 different people if we had been helped. One lady decided to be our server. The food took forever to come out, there was a lack of attention in our section, and trying to pay was a joke. Our waitress, who was overall wonderful but a bit clueless, said she would be right back with out check. Thinking she meant she would "be right back", I had my card ready on the table. A new woman walked by and informed us that we needed to pay up front, I told her we were waiting for the check and proceeded to put my card back in my wallet. After about 5 minutes our waitress finally shows back up with the check and says we could pay her when ready, so out comes the card again and another wait for her to bring it back to me. This was a great place to eat as far as prices and food quality and we will be back, but they really need to get it together with who's job it is to do what and communication. |

02/18/2016 5:23 amThe food is great! I really liked the variety; you can't find that in any other Hispanic restaurant in Tulsa. From Argentinian meats to Bolivian and Peruvian dishes, it's just awesome. I loved the Peruvian Ceviche, it taste authentic and therefore delicious. They also have great specials every day of the week. I totally recommend this place. If you haven't been there, you're missing out! |

02/01/2016 7:18 pmOne star is one more star than this place deserves. Shameless service, incorrect orders, incorrect attempts to correct orders, small portions, 10+ non-working dangling tube TVs, glass sheets on table cloths that move around, margaritas made with Master of Mixes Big Bucket margarita mixer, and no refills on water (even when requested). |

01/29/2016 9:16 pmI hate to give 1 star, but the place server a very disgusting stuffed poblano pepper for lunch. The rice was basically watery and the poor pepper was the size of a small jalapeno pepper, but was obvious frozen. Also, the ground beef was no more than a teaspoon in volume and it looked horrible. Oh my. Yikes. |

01/03/2016 7:28 pmI've been here before a while back and I remembered it being good, at least I thought it was. I had just gone there recently and it was t bad but it's not the greatest. The food didn't have much of a taste. I had gone there with some friends and they all said the same thing. The salsa was alright but the chips were a bit burnt. We finished them because we waited and brought more that were I suppose fresh but they still felt burnt. The food arrived and we were all excited. A couple friends orders came with salads and they had put ketchup on top, which I wish they'd have told us that because it seemed a little off. Well the food usually comes with guacamole and pico de gallo, well it also had ketchup on top, which that kinda ruined it for me. I ordered the chimichanga that was fried instead of the normal one and it had a plain taste. The beans and rice were literally close to flavorless. Not gross but they didn't taste that great. I'd say the food was about two stares. They didn't have that much of a verity of items either, which I should of had thought about it because it's a "Latin" grill not a Mexican grill Save to say next time I want to eat in downtown el guapo is around the same area and much better. |
