Best Italian restaurant EVER...I am Sicilian and growing up in aN Italian family prego, ragu and olive garden are bad words. In Cleveland WE have little Italy where I said take Italian restaurants are plenty here in Raleigh not so much.

We moved here from Ohio almost two years ago and have yet to have an authentic Italian meal that I didn't have to cook.:( until last night! We were greeted at the door by the owner Carlo and the service was excellent. To describe the food in one word perfezione!!!

This place was highly recommended by a friend. We went for the first time recently and our visit was splendid! The food was outstanding, and the bread was seriously to die for! Don't even get me started on those cannolis...I was speechless. This reminds me of my sister's Sicilian godmother's homemade Italian food. Will be back many, many times!

Friendly place. Nice service and quaint. Owner is fun. Food is great and Calamari and Escargot are awesome.

I had been looking forward to dinner all week at Casa San Carlo, but my hopes were shattered. I ordered the eggplant rollatini and it was extremely disappointing. The sauce was so bland I would prefer a jar sauce to this. It actually reminded me a lot of Chef Boyardee sauce, only extremely overpriced.

On Saturday I made dinner with Trader Joe's sauce and frozen eggplant cutlets and it was 100% better.

I would not waste your money on this place, plenty of other good Italian places around.

Love this place!!! It has everything that you want in a restaurant and much more! The food is mouthwatering delicious, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the owner is one of the nicest you will ever meet! My family and I come here often on Sunday afternoon for their lunch buffet, which is to die for, and it has something for everyone, even picky 7 year olds! I highly recommend this place. It is, by far, one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area!
