Such an amazing experience all the way around. Sacramento is blessed to have this restaurant! Food, family, fun, love, atmosphere. Nothing like Casablanca Morrocan.

Personally, I feel this place is a little too pricy, and I do have a personal issue about my experience. The food was mostly decent, and the motif was something to be spoken for to be sure (the furnishings and tapestried walls are very interesting and nice), but my brother wanted to order just an entré because he doesn't like many of the foods in the feast (i.e., soup), and they refused to accommodate his request. They then said that because we were going to share one meal instead, we would be getting less food for the same price. They then proceeded to be very inhospitable toward my brother and wouldn't let him wash his hands. They treated me like a sultan and my brother like dirt. Our pet died today, and we wanted to go somewhere to have a good meal and a stiff drink, and this place didn't even serve alcohol! The bathroom was disgusting and the kitchen was gross!

Fun and interesting. Definitely worth going. Food was a little limited in choices and you always get this almond egg pastry thing - which was just OK. The lentil soup was excellent. And music and belly dancing was fun. It's small but beautiful inside, you'd never guess from outside. We were there for over 3 hours! Not an eat and run place.
So all in all
Atmosphere - 10/10
Service 8/10 - I was thirsty for a while
Comfortable - 9/10 - padded benches and big pillows are pretty comfy.
Food selection - 5/10 they choose a lot for you and theres only a few things you get to choose.
Price - 7/10 - $23 a person at least. Don't try to get a $5 plate. Not gonna happen.
Food - 8/10 - I liked a lot of what they had quite a bit. The tea was excellent, and the soup. 5 course meal! I liked my entree but I think I'll try a different one next time.

I have been here twice and both times the service was over the top! Please do not let the exterior of this place deter you from a wonderful experience. The food was surprisingly great! never had it before but I want to go back everyone we visit Sacramento. You should try it at least once.
