Food:

Great Cuban food, and some of the best Cuban sandwiches I had in Miami. Their churrasco and bistec empanizado are excellent as well. Their black beans are amazing and so are their tajadas.

The waitress/waiters that work inside are very good and courteous. I go there very often, and I have never had a complain with anyone inside.

My problem is the people at the window. It seems whenever I order a espresso or a sandwich at the window I am greeted by someone in a sour mood or with bad attitude all around. It makes it for a not pleasant experience, .

Their chicken "vaca frita" is excellent.

My Husband and I met here about 4 years ago, we go every weekend for the breakfast and at least twice a month for dinner, Gloria and/or Alba are or usual waitress'.. The place always feel like I'm visiting family, and it's like they have "Cuba in the Kitchen", the food is always delicious and fresh and the service is impeccable. It's still a GREAT PLACE even after all these years!!!!

Horrible service and the quality of the food has gone down dramatically!! It was my brother's graduation dinner so we asked for seating for 12. After waiting for 38min I asked for an update and the lady at the front was very rude and annoyed that I asked. Then a bald gentleman walked over and sat us in different booths. When I asked why he replied "because its cheaper". I wasn't looking for cheaper seats I was trying to celebrate my brother's graduattion at your restaurant. After being completely split up and waiting another 30min. Our food was awful. Burnt steak, stail rice and no silverware. We literally had to get our own untensils from another table. Not once did we ever get asked if we needed refills, napkins a box.....this is day one stuff people. The worst part was when I was asked by the waitress why I hadn't left a better tip. How embarrassing !!!! Has Miami Lakes lost its class. I was warned not to come here by friends and neighbors but I really wanted to give you guys another shot. I guess I need to head to the beach if we want real customer service and great tasting food. One star and you totally deserve less.

Very good food, but need some spice dressing the only one is Tabasco other than that very good place and beautiful waitresses
