12/30/2015 3:21 am Only visited one time tonight but it is fun. They had a girl DJ person and guy. They were good about singing, dancing, and getting ppl to come on stage/participate between ppl saying they wanted to sing. It was entertaining watching drunk ppl sing and dance |

10/09/2015 10:22 pmI have a question: I see several reviews of The Cats Meow in recent months and they stated the KJ sings between each singer or at least quite often even while there's a full house waiting to sing. I'm thinking of a birthday weekend to NO and want to know if this is true. I would not want that kind of experience since I believe the karaoke show is for the customer and not the KJ. I'm a KJ myself and I only sing to get the night started or to change up the pace (too many ballads lined up). |

We have been coming to this place for years and have never had a problem. today we tried to enter with the same ID's we were allowed to enter with a month ago and the manager would not let us in because my boyfriend is not from the United States. I will tell every person at our convention this year and every year following to not go to this bar. that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever hear. not accepting international ID's??? WOW |

01/14/2015 6:17 amMade a trip to New Orleans to check out the Karaoke as I do all over the world after asking 4 times during the night when I was up and waiting almost 3 hours I never made it was still 3 in front of me when I decided enough was enough. I saw people come in way after me get up and sing... and why a Karaoke bar would have the Karaoke DJ sing a song in between each one is beyond me. They are good but there is a lot of good singers if you let them on stage that can sing... I talked with the Manager Matt and he says he will get back with me but I doubt he will.... I would rate this as somewhat fun bar if you were not there to sing if you are going there to sing Dont because you will probably be disappointed...~Marlon Davis aka Milo |
