03/24/2013 9:19 pmI'm writing this review from longhorn steakhouse on my smartphone after making the decision to leave Cattleman's due to poor swrvice and horrendous food quality. At 1st glance when u walk in, the place gives you the illusion of a high end wine and dine. Walking to our booth I saw some tables a little dirty and one of the table chairs ripped. Remaining skepticle I hop on my phone to read some reviews in hopes of a suggestion to a good piece of steak. Most said prices were inflated for what u get... so I thought u cant go wrong with ribs and they were reasonably priced. We finally order our food after about 10 min after the drink order. We asked the waiter if they serve bread and he says he'll bring it right out. 40 minutes elapse... I go to the server booth and politely ask to be seated in a more responsive section. The food is finally delivered. The ribs looked absolutely horrible. Over cooked difficult and difficult to take off the bone and just a terrible sauce slapped on it. One bite. Thats it. Manager comes over and apologies and only acknowledges our dissatisfaction for the food. So I had to explain how long we waited. Minus the part where the server waited until we looked at the menu for 10min and had both chosen burgers only to find out they were out. That would have been nice to know before hand... she apologized and provided no real solution. We left. |

01/30/2013 3:34 amBest steakhouse in town. They use Cattlemans dry aged steaks that are prepared on a broiler that reaches temps up to 1600 degrees. The steaks are delicious but the best part about this place is the service. Great regional beers and an extensive wine list as well. Check them out. Ask for Jeff as your server. You won't be dissapointed! |

06/28/2012 11:50 amFood was ok,as for cost it is over priced for what you get. Steak and mash $30. As for the beer opted for local and that was extremely over priced $6.50 .always thought local was cheapest i was wrong on this occasion. Will not be going back. |

06/18/2012 7:15 pmI had the Shrimp and Arugula salad. I couldn't eat a steak the night I went w/ family and friends. Our server Jesse was SO nice! Back to the salad. It claimed to have "fresh" items on there including crumbled bacon. Every bite I took tasted like it, I couldn't taste the shrimp and on top of that the bacon tasted like Bac-O's that you buy from the store. :\ I couldn't taste the shrimp. The best part of the evening was the dessert which was a Peanut Butter Cup torte. Pricey for mediocre food. :\ Never again. |
