They used to be really good. But the last several times I've gone there the steaks didn't seem to be seasoned at all. I really love A1 sauce, so I ask for it no matter where I am. But a couple of times I've had the waiters give me a hard time, saying that their steaks didn't need it. While that may have once been true, it is not your business how I eat my food. I do like that you get a little toppings station for your baked potatoes and their key lime pie is AMAZING. At this point, I don't know if I'll go back, they really upset me last time. It was my birthday and my parents had called ahead to make sure they could buy a whole key lime pie as a birthday present (that's how much I love this pie). They were told yes, but when we got there, the manager came to the table told us we couldn't have the pie because they only had two and that had to last them all weekend. My parents were so embarrassed because they were left without having present for my birthday. It would have been one thing if they had asked when we got to the restaurant, but they went to the trouble to call ahead and were told that it would not be a problem.

We ate here for Easter on Sunday. My daughter and I both had the Stockyard 11 oz sirloin. Within an hour of leaving the restaurant we both were extremely sick. My mother-in-law contacted the restaurant and a manager called us and said he was going. To check the steaks and assured us that the owners would contact us on Monday. We still have not heard a thing from them. We spent $100 for Easter dinner only to get sick and no one from the restaurant to address it. I will not go back!

Been eating here for 35 years (whenever I was living Ft. Worth). GREAT steaks in a real Ft. Worth atmosphere, laid back and relaxed. Service always top notch....and not only can I wear my boots and hat, but I'd feel funny without them....including my 501s.
You HAVE to try the BBQ ribs just to get warmed up!!!

The steak had that good, old school steak flavor I remember from Sonny Looks in Houston. I'm not a tourist and there are several great steakhouses in DFW, you should try this place. A good steak without the stuffiness that all of the Dallas steakhouses have. Pretty good stuff. Service was great as well!

I was really surprised how they were able to cook for a table of 15 people, and get everybody's steak orders to perfection.

The steak was amazing, as well as the fried jalapeno potato skins. Baked potato was good but it's like any other baked potato.

Good comfort food.
