Very good food! We had blackened chicken and chicken and rice soup. I would go again, but very slow lunch service.

There was a group of us 10 that went in ordered drinks then ordered food, my bread was so black as I ordered pull bbq pork, the French fries were so cold I paid for my meal only to throw it in the trash, I will never go back and make sure I tell everyone to never eat or step in the building. I am a manager at a local restaurant downtown that was the worse food ever... Never again!!!!!!!

Dined there last night. Service was slow, waited for ever to get a drink and to order. Ordered the "chicken & biscuit". From the menu it sounded wonderful. ..but when it came out I was very disappointed. The whole plate was cold, like they just grabbed it from the fridge as if it had been made by accident earlier and they decided to pawn it off on me. Good thing it didn't cost us much since we were paying with a gift card, which the waitress had an attitude about as we were leaving. We will not be back.

The Good:
Chicken and Waffles. Nicely fried chicken with light fluffy fresh waffle. Sweet and salty, nice.
The Bar. Drinks were good, big, strong and reasonably priced.
The Atmosphere. Nice place and good service.

The SoSo:
Chicken Fried Steak. It was big and nice looking, and close to good, but the gravy was runny and mashed potatoes were sticky, heavy and under-spiced. Looked better than it tasted. Alright I guess.

The Bad:
Calf Fries or Great Balls of Fire: Awful, just plain awful...These have to be carefully cleaned and prepared or they will have the texture of what they sound like. These were like chewing rubber or overcooked calamari. Poorly seasoned and overcooked. Prepared properly they have the texture of fried oysters. They have little taste of their own, so the seasoning and dip are important. Everything was all wrong except the fresh cut fries. They were good.
Black Eyed Peas: They were dark and under-seasoned, they may have been from a can, or just not very good.

Overall, they have a good bar, and some items on the menu are good. The menu or cooking needs to be tweaked.
I mildly recommend, especially since it is downtown and pretty reasonable on prices.

What's not to love? Great service on the dining floor and one handsome kitchen mafia pumping out the best food in Downtown Tulsa!
