Every time I go there I am disappointed. I've tried them 3 times now. The food is bland. The service is just so so. There have been multiple times I've ordered an appetizer and it didn't come until the middle of my meal. Not a fan.

Ate here with my wife and the in-laws, and I have to say - having lived in Central America for almost a decade - this food was the closest to authentic I've ever tasted in Wisconsin. The place was pretty busy on Saturday when we stopped by, so seating took a while, and we felt like we had been forgotten a few times, but otherwise our waiter was very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. Parking was a bit of a challenge, so if you're in walking distance be sure to take a stroll - you may need it afterwards!

Just left from a great dining experience. We both ordered different item. Salmon tacos and duck tacos. Black beans and rice. Different salsas to try with chips. Prices are in line with the quality of great food offerings. I even had a pineapple margarita. Excellent service all the way around. Gracias

So I've read a few reviews and I've had my own expirience, so here it is. First of thier salsa, not everything will be chunky tomatoes or bursting with mind bowing spice and taste. Some can be a puree or chunky like pico. With that said there were different and tasty. The peanut salsa was a interesting taste. Now the service. I read someone complain that they were seated fast and nor waited on immediately..... shut up. I was seated just as fast and was patient enough to wait. So with that said our friend "River" was great. They do know the menu well and with explain it the best they can. Food was different. I must say this is not your typical taco joint. This is a different flavor. More of a Mexico affair. We all get so used to tacos and burritos when there is a world of food Mexico offers. Cempazuchi does just that. With a bit of a spin they do stand out. With all that said, 4 stars come from the prices. A little steep but what can you do. Ambiance was colerful and the mezcal flights were great. I recommend if you want to try something different. Otherwise, taco bell is down the block. Muchos gracias cempazuchi!!!

very good food, very, very poor service. Seated quickly, then no server for over 12 real minutes. Had to ask if anyone was going to come to our table. I had a Cempazuchi gift card, big mistake, no one would check us out. It was too much trouble or they didn't know how. I've had dinner here more than 10 times, good food. Not planning on going back anytime soon though.
