Chai's has a unique twist to island cuisine. The food is amazing. The crispy, kaffir wrapped shrimp are my favorite. The service is even better. Chai's dedication to excellent food and service is evident in his restaurant. I hired Chai to cater my wedding in Hawaii next month.

The food was tasty but pricey. Loved the ambiance with Nathan Aweau singing. It wasn't too loud which is often the case with musicians playing during the meal. The escargot was excellent; the duck was a bit gamey.

It's "always a treat" to dine on chef Chi Chaowasaree's "delicious" Pac Rim fare "bursting with exotic flavors" while being "serenaded" by a "who's who of Hawaiian musicians" at this Aloha Tower Marketplace mecca; "the indoor/outdoor seating and Hawaiiana/Asian decor complement the "creative" "local-style" offerings, including a prix fixe option, and while "expensive", it's "oh so worth it"; still, some shout it's "too loud."
