Chang's China Bistro, Durham, North Carolina Restaurant Details

Food:

Tonight I had the absolutely worst customer service I have ever had at a restaurant!!!! After waiting 45 minutes for my order to arrive, I talked to the manager and he told me he would go and find out what happened to my order and let me know. Fifteen minutes later I look over and he is pouring beer at the bar! I go over and ask him what he is doing, he said he would let me know about my order. He started saying he forgot, and I just told him I want my money back, that I would go somewhere else. Then one of the other bartenders asked me what my problem was, that other people had been waiting two hours and they were not getting upset. I guess I have to wait two hours before I am able to get good service here???? I will never setting foot in another PF Chang's as long as I live.

I recently ate here. I loved the food, but I did not love that my debit card information had been stolen. My bank called me the next day saying my card had been compromised at P.F Changs. As a result I will NEVER eat here again!

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and a real gem design wise. Great to bring your out of town friends and family to! Lovely decor, great scale and lovely artwork greet you at this welcoming and friendly place. I was surprised they didn't have an appetizer sampler on the menu. They have so many interesting appetizers, I would love a sampler, or being able to pick two or three appetizers, would be fun to mix and match. They are really not set up to do that, but the manager told me if you ask, they can bend the rules. The ginger chicken with broccoli lacked the ginger ZIP I was expecting, but was good and was a nice portion size for lunch, especially since a complimentary salad or soup is included. Their GINGER BEER is a lovely treat that will really tickle your tongue with the infused fresh ginger. They are very friendly here and accommodated my request for a booth in a timely fashion... Eric the manager was out front and very cordial. Overall, it was a pleasant treat for me and my friends, who really enjoyed the food and ambiance... will definitely be back. So convenient to Southpoint Mall, too.

I am not gonna lie, this review might make me look like a fool but this restaurant is underrated. the ahi tuna appetizer and changs spicy chicken with the banana spring rolls with pineapple ice cream are their three best items this place sells, and they get it right, so very right that I have to write a review. enough said, go their and enjoy yourself and a date.

I love their new vegetarian dishes! Although, I feel like this place is not cheap and I expect service accordingly. I ordered their delicious non cheap banana spring roll desert. when we go the desert, ice cream was half melted , no mint and no good presentation. The whole desert was a mess and almost not in edible condition. All I have to say is, if you want to charge good price you have to serve good food. This is the first time I got bad service at PF changs.
