Chaparral Suites Scottsdale, Scottsdale, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

Debbie at the 4th floor Grill/bar and Jonny D one of the shuttle drivers truely make this place worth coming back to. I stayed here on a 5 day business trip. Every night almost, I went up to the grill. The food was always l at the grill, but the crowd of older laid back folks was even better. I watched Debbie interact with customers of all ages and she would nail it in top knotch customer service every time.

Johny D, one of the shuttle drivers, was a true gentleman. He was open the door for us every time. He was able to carry a polite conversation with his customers. I am truly impressed by his custmer service.

With all of the renovavtions going on here, I think a little extra money could be spent on giving these employees a pay raise. They made this stay such a wonderful experience.

Food:

Stayed for the Labor Day weekend and this was one of the best hotels that I have been to in AZ. First the price was about the lowest I have ever paid but the room was the largest. The staff were all awesome & friendly every where we went. There was a free booze reception every night for 2 hours and had a great time there and so was everyone else :) Breakfast was def one of the best I have ever had a hotel. They said they are getting ready to upgrade at lot of things in the near future but I think it is great the way it is.

Met a lot of fun people hanging out by the pool and there are other good restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was excellent, not even the smallest complaint !!

I made the reservation for the wrong day. I called Chaparral Suites and the gentleman who answered was very nice. I told him what happened and that I booked it from a third party, he told me that he would change the dates and don't worry about it. I was on hold for a few minutes, and I was very thankful, then Brandy got on the phone and told me that the only way that she could do it is if Priceline stated that they would do it. She said that she WOULD! I called Priceline and the customer service stated that they would have to call the hotel. She called the hotel and put me on hold, she came back on and she said that she spoke to Brandy and Brandy said NO! I called Chaparral Suites on a 3 way call, and Brandy said that she did say no but they would have to charge the price difference, and they WON'T do that so she told Priceline no. Two people from Chaparral told me they would and then they said NO! Great Customer Service there BRANDY! I understand that I messed up, however, two people said that they would and then you changed your story! DONT BOOK HERE!!!!

Food:

Very dated facility, ac that struggles and the pools are very warm. A shame because a simple water feature cools the water so easily. I ended up going to a store and buying a fan. Good value for the spacious room but avoid the summer.

We travelled to Scottsdale for the first time, and picked this place out because of comments on the web. Beautiful resort, Very clean, Very Friendly, Best Free breakfast I ever had, couldn't have been better had I paid extra, Delicious and LARGE selection. Rooms were a little dated BUT very nice. We were told they were updating all rooms this year. The grounds and pool were immaculate.If we go back to this area we will most definitely stay here again. You will NOT be disappointed. A little about us, we are in our early 60's and middle income.
