Charlesmark Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts Restaurant Details

Great central location. Room was compact, but very nice and clean and service was excellent. Bar was also excellent. Wish there were better parking options though.

I visited the lounge at the Charlesmark, and it was a great experience. The service was on point, and the environment is very high end.

Not quite sure why the bad reviews. I'm guessing expectations not met. Place is great. Keep in mind is not really a place to stay for a family. Perfect for a couple or a solo traveler. The rates are the best for what you get. Everything is clean, rooms are modern, staff is friendly and helpful. Also Eric the bartender makes a special drink with tequila, it is really really good. Definitely recommend this place. Location is great as well. If I come back, I will stay here again.

A polite and responsive staff as well as a tidy, neatly appointed room greeted us. It included a very comfortable bed, a roomy bathroom, conveniently located lighting, and the best part was the hotel's location. If you like to walk, you can walk to just about any venue in Boston from its location. We walked to all our restaurants, to Symphony, to the South End, and to South Station from the hotel. And not expensive. I highly recommend

This is a review of the bar only, I've never stayed at the hotel. This isn't a normal hotel bar, it's not grossly expensive, and it's not so much a scene as others. It's a good space with quality bartending-- keep your eyes out for Jefferson, he's great! They have a list of interesting mixed drinks as well as a rotating seasonal drink menu. The beer selection isn't really big, but the cocktails are a bigger draw. They do cool events like a monthly wine tasting party which is a lot of fun and a good deal. Check this place out.
