I came here some years back, and clearly I was too young to appreciate good food. My chicken fried chicken was amazing (not on the menu, but they'll make it for you). The sweet glazed carrots were unlike any carrots I've ever had, my goodness! And the mashed potatoes...look, everything was delicious! I also had a few of my mom's ribs too. Falling off of the bone! They were family barbecue good!! To top it off, the service was great. Overall great place!

Wonderful service and the food was outstanding. . We had the flat bread appetizer which was a little greasy but otherwise delicious. Our table had the prime rib, a filet, and a salad and everyone loved their food. The bread pudding is DELICIOUS! Make sure you try it!

Such an amazing experience. The food was delicious, and the entire menu sounded so good. I liked the quiet atmosphere. The bread pudding and key lime pie were both really good. So excited to go back the next time I'm in Fort Worth.

This Sunday afternoon 12/13/2015, following attending church, we went to Charleston's on Hulen street in Fort Worth, Tx with our family, party of six. We have enjoyed dining here for several years, the Moss Point Gumbo on Wednesday is a particular favorite. Today, however, was the worst service I have ever received at Charleston's. So many service problems I will run them together to save space. Our server, Austin I think, no name tag, seemed to be in a hurry and obviously had other tables more pressing. Two diners had to ask where their side dishes were after receiving the main courses with no sides, one of our diners, who was having soup and salad and had requested to be served when the other meals were delivered, sat with nothing when all five others were ready to begin, causing them to wait on him. Subsequently a bus boy, I think again no ID, brought the wrong cup of soup, which should have been a bowl, and no salad. I've gone on too long and it didn't get any better. Perhaps this Charleston's has run its course or is just too busy to care any longer.

This is my 'go to' restaurant for prime rib. (It used to be Harrigan's in Bedford before they closed.). I stumbled on it by chance, but it's been perfect every time I've had it there (medium rare). Their house salad is also good. The atmosphere is fine (dark and quiet), but it is a pretty 'senior' crowd.
