Lunch rating: Wonderful experience, great location and delicious food. The service seemed rushed though the place was not busy. But the servers were not rude, just running around faster than it seemed to be necessary. Overall, great atmosphere and delicious food, all for a competitive price.

Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Food was very fresh and tasty. Simple, earthy decor, which is what we prefer.

When I move from Madison I will deeply miss this tongue tingly epicurean delight...This restaurant brought me back to being a vegetarian because it reminded me how tasty it can be to be a veg ..Great staff..The manager is an awesome person. I bring all my friends from out of town here. Great beer as well :)
The dosa is not to be missed the coconut chutney on the side is so good you will lie to the waitress and say yours fell on the floor and instead you had really put it in your pocket to get more..lol.
The dal is awesome and great salads.. Oh and the tofu shish kabobs is the most luscious tofu you will ever taste in your life I cannot explain it. It is worth a trip to Madison just to eat here so c'mon don't miss this place when you come! Oh and the Nepali hot chocolate/ tea/coffee stuff great...

Every time we've been to this restaurant, the food is really delicious. We think it's a great bargain for the wonderful fresh and healthy dishes. When we are thinking about where to go, we sometimes think of more expensive place but often end up wanting to go to Chautara because the food is always delicious.
