Fans of the eponymous TV show flock to these busy, super-touristy pubs where the servers won't know your name but will be fast and courteous while delivering decent bar food for a nice price; though the interiors don't look like what you saw on television, somehow they still fascinate out-of-towners.

A must visit spot for both the Cheers TV show fans as well as as anyone else just wanting to visit a cool historic pub. Decent suds selection and average quality food. Very good service. Make sure you visit both bars: the smaller room contains the bar where the TV show was filmed. .

Had a drink in the set bar, upstairs from the original pub. For a tourist attraction, it's pretty good: They have a decent selection of beers, and pour "full size' 20oz pints for the same price as most other downtown bar's 16-18oz pours. Staff were friendly. Didn't eat, but looked like typical pub food.

Totally cheesy, but a lot of fun. The bar downstairs is the place to be if you want the 'original' experience, but the bar upstairs is modeled after the show. Either way, it's fun and totally worth checking out.

A must visit when you go to Boston, although don't be surprised if they don't really know your name.

The bar was very busy, but yet the staff were very friendly and attentive. It's a small place and I would image at some times there could be quite a wait for a table, but has a great atmosphere. It wasn't overly priced, which was a nice surprise. The food was quite greasy and cheesy, but again, you expect that at a typical bar.

They also have a little shop in the back if you want to buy merchandise, or if you are so included, you could buy the beer glass you drink from....although if I were going to buy a glass I think I'd prefer one that hundreds of other people hadn't drunk from.

Service and food was good. Veggie pasta was pretty darn good! Husband said Ruben could have been better. Liked the bar/ restaurant - nostalgia!
