09/11/2010 10:33 amThis was a GREAT place. The price was high! But the food was great. I didn't like the salad but the New York strip and the Ribs and shrimp (you have have to de-head them) were GREAT. The wood fire makes the meat taste so good and it just melts in your mouth. It is so smooth and tender. Thank you for a GREAT evening. |

08/31/2010 10:02 amWe have eaten here before and enjoyed it, but this time our dinner was very disappointing. My escargot was tasteless and the bread with it was burnt black! I had to send it back. Everything we ordered was not up to the standards we expected. And our waiter was very unfriendly. What made it worse is it was a celebration dinner. |

04/22/2010 1:57 pmI first got to try Chef Allens thanks to Groupon. Being an FIU student, I had heard great things about Chef Allens from my professor and other members of the FIU community. Chef Allen is after all an FIU graduate. |

01/13/2009 4:28 pmIngredients were fresh, presentation was great, service was very good... however both main dishes were very salty... bordering on inedible.. (i almost never have this complaint at restaurants... i like my salt...) Price was not unreasonable for South Florida. |

07/31/2007 1:02 amHaving Traveled Extensively and taking a quick get away to Miami for the weekend the concierge at our hotel recommended Chef Allen's to us as a great place where, "nothing goes wrong". I would say it was much better than that. The food was amazing, and the Tasting menu made for a fun experience. Combine it with a wine flight, and it makes for a spectacular experience. We would love to come back over and over again. |
