Chester Cab Pizza, Rochester, New York Restaurant Details

Food:

First time: Pizza was late and they forgot my drink (realized this after I tipped them).

Second time: DELIVERY TOOK 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES. I live right down the street!

The actual shop itself is poorly managed, the staff is easily distracted, and the pizza is incredibly overpriced for the crap it really is.

Go to Dragonfly if you want an actual good slice of pizza.

I love it that Chester Cab is under new management. The staff is much more friendly and easier to deal with. Under the old management my orders would always be incorrect. One time they forgot to fry my fry dough. They just gave me the raw dough. Really? Under the new management none of this happens. They are prompt with delivery and always wonderful to deal with. Keep up the great work!

Worst delivery service ever. Ordered from them over a month ago, took over 2 hours to deliver an order I was told would take 45 minutes. I was told they would take care of it and make it right. No discount no nothing. Tried again tonight, again took over 2 hours to with still no delivery for an order that was supposed to take 30 minutes. Called twice to get an update was told first the driver left 5 minutes ago. 2nd call was 45 minutes later and told they would discount the meal. Thirty minutes later I called and just canceled the order. It should not take 2 hours and 30 minutes plus to get a salad, sub and fried side. Especially when I was told the driver left over an hour ago.

As much as we love the food at Chester Cab we will not be ordering again.

The best pizza. Good crisp chewy crust , flavorful. We had the perfect pizza with artichokes, the small spicy pepperoni was yummy and my favorite calamata olives. I can not wait to have another pie on our next visit to Rochester.....

Food:

I had a slice of pepperoni pizza and a coffee. The slice is large enough to be considered a meal with lots of topping and excellent taste. Very good pizza and competitively priced. I was expecting a cup and saucer for the coffee as it was so displayed in pictorial advertising on the premises. Not so, a Styrofoam cup and not very good coffee. The weather was suitable for sitting outdoors and a fine guitarist and singer was performing so all and all a great value for my money today, 8/23/14.
