The service was spot on. The environment was warm and reminiscent of old world Europe - with a live one man band as entertainment. The beer was as expected... In other words... Good. The only disappointing thing was the food. For the price of the meal I expected better. My Sauerbraten was dry and the red cabbage was almost mush. The only reason why I'm giving a three stars is because my wife, who ordered the stuffed cabbage, seemed to be satisfied with her meal.

Really interesting environment. The live music was a trip. Food seemed hit or miss - did appreciate the German beer options. Worth a visit for sure

Great german beers by the liter and mouth watering chicken schnitzel. Worth the wait if there is one. The live music is super fun.

I am from Germany and visited the Brauhaus in Chicago. Really nice place with the best beer I got in America so far. You should definitely try it!
