Chili's Grill & Bar, San Antonio, Texas, American Restaurant Details

Food:

Food ist always tasty, waitress friendly and they offer good offers for happy hour.
What I don't like is that the chips for guacamole and salsa are too thin. They break apart almost every time you dip them.

Food:

Wanted something good to eat after my sons football practice so we went to this location which is close to home for us. Got there with a 30 minute wait, so we waited patiently, but while waiting we asked for a drink for our son but no one ever brought it out to us. Got to our table and the man that was "helping" us was named Robert. We ordered our drinks and got them within 10 minutes of ordering. We told him we needed another minute or two to be ready and he took it as another 10 minutes. So we got our appetizer order in first with our sons food and then our food with our alcoholic beverages but asked for our sons food out first. We waited about a good 15 minutes to get our appetizer and our sons food but were still missing our drinks and when they did come out they were wrong, but they did fix them in about a minute. For anything else we needed Robert was no where to be found and had to wait a while until we found him to get what we needed. We waited another 20-25 minutes for our food and noticed that families that got seated waay after us had already got their food and still no word on ours. We finally got Roberts attention because my son needed a refill on his drink and that took him 5 minutes to get a quick refill. By the time he came back we had already lost our appetite and asked him to cancel the order and when my husband said that he looked at him and said seriously it's almost done so my husband of course tells him yes seriously we weren't even hungry at that point. Robert goes to the back and about 2 minutes later the manager comes out to see what was going on. When we explained she apologized and said she would cover everything we had already which was very nice of her but we were willing to pay. Not once did we see Robert again after that and the manager still apologized when we left. I know they were already close to closing but it's just all part of the food business as I am very familiar and have been in the business for many years already. We will not be going back chili's for a very long time due to this experience which is sad because I loved chili's and this just messed me up with it..

Food:

I have been coming to this location ever since it was brand new, the reason why is because this Chili's is consistently good. The wait for a table is short, even during peak times. The food is always satisfying and if it isn't, they will always try to resolve this issue. If you come with 25 people or just yourself, this Chili's can fit you in, feed you quickly, and have you leaving full and happy.

Food:

Went when it was slow so there was no reason for our waitress to be as horrible as she was. Sarah was her name and she got not only my order wrong but the rest of my tables orders wrong. We literally had to wave her down every time we needed something because she was too busy flirting with man at bar to even acknowledge us. Some other waitress had to keep helping us and telling Sarah she needed to take care of her table. Not only did she forget about us and our food but when we did get our food, 50 min later. It was all wrong. Two of us just delt with it because it had taken forever just getting it. And the others sent theres back. Once it was time for me to pay. I signed for one price but according to my bank they took out more money then they should have. When I called the place about it they refused to admit it and kept saying it was charged correctly. When the next day my card was refunded the amount that was taken without permission. Never going back again. This ruined me ever going to a chilis ever again.

Food:

Nice, busy location. The waitress was excellent. My order wasn't cooked to my preference so the manager made sure i was taken care of &also checked back. Nice lady who was transparent & lively. Her customer service alone saves this place. The reboot chili's underwent is interesting as well.
