China Buffet, Indianapolis, Indiana, Chinese Restaurant Details

Food:

Well...things have been deteriorating for some time - food quality, but mostly in horrible service. Guess it caught up with them; they're closed. I drove by the other day on my way to Kroger and a sign on the door says "close (sic) business". No evidence of them there and the property is available for rent. It had been about a month since I had been there so I had no idea they were closing. My new go-to spot for Asian food is Tian Fu on 86th.

I felt sorry for the son (7th grade?) and daughter (9th grade?) who had to work there every non-school hour of the day. They had no life - not fair for kids. As many times as I ate there - almost every 2 wks - the mother and the kids were never friendly, appreciative or made any response.

I hope the family has better luck elsewhere. Recent small price increases must not have made any difference in them making a go of it.

This place is honestly the worst china buffet I have ever been to. for starters when we got there a child rang us up for our meal he had to be in elementary school and i swear that has to be illegal in some way. we then walked around the limited buffet that had their lunch food mixed in with dinner food. they dont wash out the trays of food before putting more food in there. the food was cold and stale and i cant tell you how long it had been sitting there. me and my boyfriend felt sick the next day. just a terrible place to go, dont waste your time.

Horrible Service. Opened at 11, but buffet didn't even have food ready. When it did come out it was disappointing quality. To top it off the staff was very rude. High school girl at the counter was clearly pissed to have to be there. If I could rate zero stars I would.

Food:

Cold food, poor selection, questionable dishes, kinda dirty. No sushi. Go to Formosa Seafood buffet, same price infinitely better.

Food:

Went for lunch and had an all right experience. The place is set up so that you pay for the buffet before dining (my transaction was handled by a 10-12 year old, oddly enough). I didn't have high expectations based on the look of the place, but found most of what I ate to be enjoyable. Selection was a bit limited though.

I came in after 1:00, so the food wasn't as warm as I would have liked. Overall, a decent Chinese buffet, but not one I plan to visit frequently.
