The food is just okay, but not great. One thing in particular that I wish they would address is that there's something Very wrong with their Eggrolls. Every time I've gotten one, it has tasted gritty (almost like there's some chalky substance inside) and overcooked as though it was fried multiple times. The chicken in their dishes isn't very good quality, a lot of dark meat pieces. In contrast, the vegetables are pretty nice and taste fresh, in my experience. If they can manage to serve good vegetables, I'm not sure why they can't figure out how to serve good quality chicken and "normal" eggrolls. I'd be happy to update this with a better review if the quality improves.

Best homemade noodle soups ever. Broths are creamy and the noodles have great mouth feel - firm despite being soaked in hot broth. Noodles are almost translucent, indicating that have been made fresh with good directionality of the starches during the stretching process. Flavorful Broths are full of vegetables, seafood, and meats to make a complete meal. Can request level of spice or add hot sauce yourself to customize the soup.

Hot and sour, egg flower soups are also top notch. Really like the fried noodles that accompany the soups.

Some of their main dishes are good, like the Hunan Chicken, but it's hit and miss.

Been a customer there for over 20 years and have yet to find comparable noodles and soup combination anywhere. That includes ramen noodle shops in NYC, Beijing, and Tokyo. If you have good noodles, the soup doesn't have flavor, or vice versa. This place is good at both.

Go there for the noodles and enjoy the experience! Noodles are made daily and are the freshest at lunchtime.
