Greatest Chinese food EVER!!!

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in North Kansas City! Although some of their food is a little on the greasy side, the warm, friendly staff more than makes up for it. I am always given a kind greeting when I arrive to pick up a meal I ordered over the phone or if I'm dining in. Delivery is also fast and the food is hot when delivered. To daten I've tried their Sesame Chicken, Beef Fried Rice, Crab Ragoon, Spring Rolls, Beef with Broccoli, and Beef with Green Peppers. All were delicious. Note that there is a lunch buffett but I've never dined there for lunch. I highly recommend China Express to all.

Lots of good food options. Some items (shrimp toast) were pretty greasy but the flavor otherwise was good. Tasty fried rice and crab rangoons as well! And they threw in free Chinese donuts as well!

The food is very good and service is great. Very friendly people. Best Chinese in the Barry/N. Oak area that I've found.

It's no wonder this place is always empty when I go there. We got carryout last night and the place is just not very nice. There is a section of tables that they've apparently turned into a lounging and eating area for employees. There was a dirty plate sitting out that looked like it had been there a while. The food was average at best...and my daughter found a hair in her Orange Chicken - YUCK! Egg rolls tasted funny! I ordered KungPao Chicken and it didn't have much spicy to it at all. We also got Hunan Chicken, and it wasn't really spicy either...and both dishes were really pretty bland. Hate to say it, but we will stick with Price Chopper's chinese food going forward. At least we know with them that there are health department standards that are adhered to.
