11/18/2015 7:51 pmFirst time here never got to try the food even though I was there for about fifteen minutes that's how long it took for all of the following to take place. Walked in the door to five people standing in the kitchen one of them cooking . I take my place at the end of the counter and enquire about one person for lunch to this I am informed no wait staff order at the counter so I approach the counter and I'm again left to my own devices to find the menus I order food and the lady asks if I want something to drink and again has to be prompted to tell me what they have I order and give her my credit card to which I am told cash only. |

10/04/2013 3:30 pmFirst of all, the food is great. Certainly some of the best Chinese food I have had in (or out of) Boulder. Even after eating too much food, you don't get that sick feeling like you do from some places that put too much oil or MSG. |

03/15/2013 7:15 pmLove this place! Ingredients are very fresh, prices are reasonable for the amount & quality of food served. For the uninitiated, it is CASH OR CHECK ONLY, and you order at the front counter and then take your seat in the dining area and wait for your name to be called at the counter when your food is ready. There are no servers/waiters. Wonton soup is lightyears better than your average bland chicken broth and noodle combo. They use a flavorful, very slightly spicy stock, and put snow peas, carrots, and napa cabbage in it as well. Brown rice is cooked properly and tender. No yucky chemicals used. Lots of vegetarian options and they also have a portion of their menu that contains no salt, sugar, cornstarch or vegetable oil. Only Chinese restaurant I've found in Boulder that's genuinely Good. |
