China Harbor Restaurant, Bangor, Maine Restaurant Details

Food:

One of the best Chinese Restaurants in Bangor. Mainly a take-out restaurant, but it has a very large dining room with above average decor. The prices are very competitive and the pork fried rice actually has pork in it, unlike many Chinese Restaurants which do not. A must stop for anyone attending the Waterfront Concerts and/or Hollywood Slots.

The food was very yummy...decent prices and huge portions...only problem I have is no free refills on drinks

Great food and service. The kids especially love it. Other people seem unhappy with the service, but I have never had a bad experience there.

Food is good. Customer service is awful! No people skills and rude. They pick their own hours. Their website says one time that they close but yet when you call and ask them when they close it's completely different. 7pm or 7:30pm seems to be the time that they close but yet their website says 10pm! Unfortunately due to the rudeness and customer service my husband and I are no longer going to be stepping foot into this restaurant again!!! We found a new place to go anyway where they know how to treat their customers and don't treat us like we are bothering them! OH and this restaurant is so cheap that they charge you for everything especially if you buy a soda that comes in a glass they don't allow free refills. Also no music in the place so you are constantly hearing what everyone else sitting around you is saying(music would be nice and the radio station is free) Very lame renovation of an old Burger King!!

Food:

Food is good, however the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS ..... Online with a google search says they are open until 10pm ... it is currently 7:33 .... I just called to check to see if they were still open, and found out they just closed 3 minutes ago.

Needless to say, after I found out they just closed 3 minutes ago, I went to mention that online says they are open until 10pm, the girl HUNG UP ON ME so I never had the chance to tell her this.

This restaurant picks their own hours and usually has at most 3 tables taken when you walk in. My wife an I have been here many times due to the food, not because of the customer service. The staff makes you feel like you are bothering them when you ask them a question, very snappy too.

We will be going to FRESH GINGER in Hampden instead .... awesome food, with outstanding customer service. Screw China Harbor, take the additional drive an check out Fresh Ginger, you won't be let down!
