08/22/2015 5:46 pmDO NOT GO HERE. I'm not being passive aggressive about something small about the restaurant. I literally had an awkward and terrible experience. So me and a friend decided to try this place out because it's super close to where we live, we walk in inside and their is and elderly lady and a tan Chinese guy sitting at the front of the restaurant, the man had his shirt half off and his shoes off? I was so shocked but they welcomed us very politely, I told my friend we should just leave (yeah my fault, we could have just left) but she was afraid of being rude and just wanted to try the food. So we sit down the kind older lady asksus what we want to drink, and we say, she then comes back with to cups and two canned soda, not bad but I was afraid to drink out of my cup because it looked very dirty. Now this is when we start to order, the tan Chinese man from the beginning comes to take are order( also the menu is just a piece of paper that are all covered in spilled food and is really crumbled) now he had a speach impediment, which I don't really care or mind but that's not what made him scary. He took are order and as we were waiting he kept pacing back and forth talking to himself, he kept opening the front and running outside like ready to fight someone then he would to the back calm down and then do the same thing all over again, let me say two girls alone in the restaurant while this is happening is scary, the only other people in the whole place the old lady the chef, I was so scared he might do something but I just kept calm and sat patiently. So the food comes out and the tan guy gives us are food, and I swear while they were cooking the food I could here like a littile microwave oven ding go off every couple of times, but now I know why, the food literally tasted frezzer burnt and just warmend and served to us, the rice was soggy, and my friends food had Brown gravy on it and the vegetables were mushy. We tried to eat it but was so inedible. So I just asked for the bill so we could just leave, they bring us the bill. My meal was was 8.50$ but they wrote 9.50$ on the bill (one dollar, big deal, right? No..) So I'm looking at the other charges and their is one at the bottem that was for seven dollars, so decided to ask because I thought it was a mistake. So I get up and ask the kind older lady and she got kind of defensive and said it's tax "you have to pay tax" and I just sat back down.... She taxed me seven dollars for a 22 dollar order..... So I just left it in cash and we walked out as fast as we could. It was such a terrible experience. So just a BIG warning. Eat their if you want but .... I do not recommend it. |

08/05/2015 11:18 pmWent here last week, will never go back. After ordering my food, I noticed a giant roach on the windowsill. Told the host (who was a very nice host) and watched him chased it around the restaurant. Lost my appetite after seeing that but still ended up paying for my food, which was pretty gross. I ordered veggie lo mein and tofu with garlic sauce. Took a few bites and threw the rest away, I decided to try this place because it was one of the closest Chinese food restaurants near my house. I'll stick with Dragon Wok. |

07/25/2015 12:26 amExcellent food. My favorite fried rice--the special fried is loaded with goodies! The family is friendly, sometimes too much so, but it's nice to be recognized in person and on the phone. Riley usually knows what I want before I can ask, and we only go every 4 or 5 months. |
