Amazing creamed shrimp sushi was awful but every thing else was amazing!

I have eaten at chinese buffets all over the country. This restaurant will go IMMEDIATELY to the BOTTOM of my list! It was by far the worst buffet I've ever had. I was a bit surprised to see a small selection of sushi there. So I eagerly filled my plate since I am a serious sushi hound! I think I maybe ate 2 or 3 pieces. It was horrendous! The food from the buffet was completely cold. It was almost like it was placed on ice instead of steamed water.

So I left my first plate of terrible sushi and awful cold food and went to the mongolian bbq. The guy cooked it forever. It was WAY overcooked and chopped into tiny pieces. The water was awful.

When I asked for chopsticks, the woman walked away from me to go and seat some other people. The only way this place stays in business is because of the tourists. They come in and eat and probably never return. I can't believe for a second that the locals eat here. STAY AWAY!!! LESS THAN ONE STAR!!!

Surprised to see the negative feedback. Thought it had a great buffet selection though the Mongolian Grill is where the action is really at. Scoop your own ice cream also to send you home happy. Worth a shot if you are hungry!

Very bad service once installed, not a smile, in hurry to end their service... Because of that, even if food is ok, it left a bad taste !
Overpriced for what you have.
After discovering another buffet restaurant (New York China buffet : top !), we will never go again wasting time and money at Jade...

So...the China Jade. We live in Orlando and just found the only remaining Mongolian Grill within a reasonale distance. When I first went in, I noticed that the price of a dinner buffet was $13.99 which I thought was a little high--but in consideration of it being on I-drive, I figured it was par for the course. The buffet food looked freshly prepared and reasonably rotated. The mongolian grill lacked ingredients, but had the essientials like noodles, broccoli, onion, carrots, snow peas, green pepper, beef, chicked and pork...and well, thats about it. Made up a bowl and sat down to eat, it was pretty good. Just as I was getting my 2nd bowl we noticed a ROACH crawling on the wall along side of our table~!!! YUCK! So our waiter immediately offered to remove one of the 3 buffet charges. We decided that since we all had pretty much lost our appetites, we would ask the manager to comp our whole bill. We were done.
She asked us to pay for our drinks. We told her no, my dad got a beer and it was terrible, watered down, and didn't taste anything like Bud Light that he ordered. Needless to say we got the song and dance from management about how they just sprayed, etc. Fine. I get that but I dont want to see bugs on my table wether you sprayed a week ago, or and hour ago.
Our server and the entire staff were very nice and very helpful. I was pleased with them and we tipped her even though we didn't have a bill.
So my advice, go cautiously and don't expect a 4-star chinese buffet.
