Sunday dim sum was excellent. Terrific selection of tasty morsels. The best shumai in Phoenix!

White people not welcome! Let me begin by saying I take racism dead serious. My first visit here was for a simple take out order. The main dish, kung po was decent but the egg drop soup tasted only like the canned sweet corn that filled more than half the bowl. On that visit the hostess did offer me water while I waited and was very polite. I made a second visit a couple weeks later and was appalled at my treatment. First off, after placing my order I was completely ignored. The 10 min prep time for my food turned into 25 min and while sitting in the lobby I got to hear who I presume was the owners son refer to me multiple times as "gwei lo" which is just as derogatory as using the N word towards African Americans. When the food finally arrived I was told not to just show up and to call ahead. The food was disgusting and was turned over to public safety officials for testing after eating the food I became violently ill. On a side note, the bald guy that rated this atrocious establishment with five stars, Gary C, is actually one of the cooks. Disgusting food and behaviour by the staff. There's a reason this place is always empty. Bad food, bad service, racial slurs, never again. I hope this dump goes belly up soon.

We have eaten dinner at China King twice this month and both meals were absolutely wonderful. It is the best Chinese food I've had and I have lived or traveled all over the US, Japan, UK and Spain. The menu is so authentic--order off the large dinner menu with all the pictures. The majority of the clients when I was there were Asian. We had Wor Wonton--broth flavorful and the goodies in the soup yummy & generous. The Roast Pork appetizer was both sweet and salty, not fatty. The Sizzling Steak had delicious cracked pepper and other seasonings with thick pieces of red and green pepper, onions, and mushroom. We had a type of Combination Fried Rice-- delicious with that slightly smokey taste I like... The chicken dishes we've had include Kung Po and Cashew Chicken both nicely prepared with generous amounts of peanuts/cashews and delicate slabs of white meat.

I have not tried the Dim Sum... a difficult to find offering since China Doll closed years ago--and alas when I was a new Lt at Luke AFB had a chance to eat their Dim Sum at their grand opening oh so many years ago.

Service was prompt and attentive. The menu is extensive with many seafood offerings as well as duck.

This dim sum did not disappoint. The food was very good and was presented at a very reasonable price. The service was amazing as we were in and out of the restaurant in 25 minutes. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.
