07/16/2012 6:59 pmThe fried rice I was given was a reheat of the buffet fried rice from earlier in the day. They did not even try to disguise it, they just grabbed the pan off the buffet island and walked it back to the kitchen. Not only did the rice taste disgusting there were pieces of food tied in that didn't belong to "fried rice", i.e. the occasional sprout, wow, a surprise wilted green onion! To make things even worse the rice tasted burnt and had burn spots all over it, and the egg pieces were charred brown and crunchy. |

03/12/2012 4:45 amFantastic authentic Taiwanese food. Don't go for the crappy American Chinese food that you get at other American Chinese restaurants. If you order junk, you'll get junk. Ask the waiters (very nice) if you can get some suggestions for things off the menu that actual Chinese speakers get. They are very tasty, authentic and a great value. This place needs a picture menu to do it justice. Some classics to try- "Ma po dofu" - a pork, tofu classic home-style dish, "nio ro mien" a delicious hearty beef noodle soup, "jia jiang mien" - a dry noodle dish with a savory brown sauce. There are many other things on the Taiwanese menu- just ask for suggestions and I'm sure that they'll be happy to help you choose. This place deserves better than the crappy reviews that it is getting for its American Chinese food- just needs better publicity! |

06/21/2010 7:56 pmHorrible experience; food was presented nicely, but upon further inspection, there was "years old" dirt stuck to the edges of the plates, made me want to throw up! Is there no health inspector in Cleveland? What happened to using commercial dishwasher with hot water and soap? Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like and how the food is handled if the plates they bring to diners are filthy. |
