Chinatown Restaurant, Nashville, Tennessee Restaurant Details

Food:

Food tasted good. Service was good. Typical Chinese restaurant. Lazy Susan in the middle of the table made passing out appetizers fun.

I'm giving this restaurant one star because the server was friendly and the food was served fast. We tried the restaurant because we saw the good reviews. Unfortunately, the food had no flavor!! I had the veggie delight and the veggies were cooked fine, but they were flavorless. My husband had the eggplant which should have been spicy, but it also had no flavor. We had high hopes for this place, but were extremely disappointed!

Food:

The service and food at this restaurant was extremely below any expectation of any food establishment. I should have known better when their special was lobster and there was a lobster literally floating upside down in the tank of green water. Against better judgement, we ate there anyways. There were 5 of us and the food came out one plate at a time with around a 5 minute wait for each plate. My beef and broccoli meal was cold so I requested it to be changed for sweet and sour chicken. Everyone had finished eating by the time my food was ready. When I told the lady at the register, she said it must just be me because they serve the same food to everyone. When I told her the service was terrible she said she would look into it and on my way out, she called me a bitch. I would most certainly never go to this restaurant.

Food:

First I asked for plum wine and she just flat out told me they don't have it, I pointed at the menu and she just said no and said beer. I ordered the lemonade and it taste like crap. Sitting here waiting for my food now. The service is just ok and the atmosphere is dull. I don't see why it's voted best in Nashville. Edamame needs more seasalt. Fried rice has no flavor at all to it...next time I will be ordering out from a hole in the wall Chinese spot those seem to be the best. Not coming back

This is a GREAT place to be - especially when you're from out of town. It's a quick in and out, and the workers are so kind and welcoming! If I'm ever back in Nashville, I will be coming back here.

I ordered the Orange Chicken, and it was AMAZING! It isn't too breaded, and you get good chunks of quality chicken. I also got the Chicken Lo Mein which was also great! it all had a nice, unique flavor.

This place serves genuine oriental food!
