Sadly, we just found this diamond of a restaurant last week. Loved it so much, almost afraid to give it an honest review for fear of it becoming too popular. Friendly staff (always a plus). Atmosphere best ever (we sat out back under a trellised cover with grape vines full of grapes-that we tasted and they were yummy!). Food was delish!! Margaritas were delish! Flan was delish too! Actually, we were there last week to celebrate a daughter moving to S.Korea to teach for a year and today we are going back to celebrate our son's birthday.

This place was recommended by the staff at a local hotel and it was terrible. We now live in NC and were road tripping to CA to see family, stopping for the nite in Albuquerque. Wanted some 'real' Mexican food and asked the hotel front desk person where he would suggest we go. Church St. Cafe he said. So we tried it. The tortillas chips tasted like they were fried in oil that had also fried fish. Yuck. Much to our surprise, they only offered red salsa, not red and green. The food was one step above Taco Bell in our eyes and would not be one we would ever frequent again. If you go to this place, I hope your experience is better than ours.
