Food:

An Indian friend told me he can't eat at this place because he gets a bad stomach every time he ate there.
I wanted to know if it was true, if so why

While waiting 15 minutes for my 8-piece tandoori chicken, I observed. This is what I saw.

An Indian guy looked like owner took all orders and money. He used his phone, moved around chairs, picked things from the floor, cleaned his eyes, blew his nose with a kitchen towel, etc., all with his bare hands. I never saw him wash hands or wear gloves. Then this shocked me. He picks up cilantro and garnishes a big order, does it over and over again. Then he handles the tandoori broiled chicken using those same bare hands to cut, rearrange another order. The guy touches everything with his bare hands, like they did back in home country.

I was surprised to see and wonder how the County have them an A grade.

Pretty good lunch specials here. The tandori chicken is pretty juicy. This place gets a huge lunch rush but the turnover time is pretty quick.

Three stars for their awesome tandoori chicekn. I was not happy on my first visit! I tried their tandoori chicken, it was tasteless however I was able to give a litte bit of flavor with the help of some hot sauce lol! The chicken was clean and well cooked compared to other places. The second time I went there just to give it another try, I ordered the same half tandoori chicken plate and asked them to make it extra spicy which came out to be PERFECT!! If you love spicy tandoori chicken ask them to make it extra spicy or spicy! It might take additional 20 mintues for them to prepare but it is totally worth it.

Lack of customer service and make sure you check your reciept twice before you leave, i always get charged different price even though i order the same food every single time!!

We tried this place out for takeout for dinner one night. The Indian food, while abundant in quantity is just OK in quality. I didn't really like the raitu and the different vegetables were kind of bland and didn't have that good of flavor.

The fiancé was a bit upset too as he ordered chicken tikka and got tandoori chicken. Overall, a so so Indian take out experience.

I have been going to this place for over 10 years. Best Tandoori Chicken, Kababs, and Nehari (Beef Curry) at affordable price. Most Indian places don't have clean kitchens, but the owner at Chutneys keeps everything tidy and spotless. It's a great lunch spot and can get very busy. If you have a thing for Indian food, this place is highly recommended.
