The Mole is excellent. The others in my party enjoyed their dinner as well.

Cielito Lindo is a very good Mexican restaurant that has the best shrimp cocktail in San Antonio. They have an outdoor dining area that is perfect for a Sunday fun day. My only complaint is their queso is pretty bland. Other than that, I highly recommend trying this restaurant out.

Went there today for lunch with friends. ordered Tacos a la parrilla
3 tacos of your choice (arrachera, pastor, beef or chicken fajita) served with pico de gallo, mexican rice and refried beans. Now is it me or does that not read like you can get your choice of any of the 3 in combination or all the same? NO, HELL NO... the waiter said they would not/could not substitute anything. It had to be 3 of the same tacos on the plate. I asked to see the manager to ask him why? I wanted 2 beef fajita and one pastor...is that so difficult to do? Apparently so. His explanation made ZERO sense. Said they weigh out each portion of meat, so it has to be the same. That's BS...then weigh out one portion of pastor. The tortillas were like HEB rubber as well. for 12 bucks I expected better. I normally dont complain but its not like I was asking them to make something that wasn't on the menu. if you can't accommodate one simple request for a customer then you don't deserve my business.

Overall terrible experience; food, service, management, atmosphere. We were seated outside since it was a beautiful day. We were initially ignored and tables seated after us were addressed first. We were never given our chips & salsa, when our food finally arrived the caldo was cold. We
asked for it to be reheated- it was returned cold, but we decided against
returning it again. The real issue started once we began eating it and hit a black potato. Completely rotten all of the way
through! We found other potato skins
that were rotted black. We informed our server, who brought the manager. The
manager, who had been more than willing to assist a table of females
choose their drinks seemed annoyed that we requested his presence on this issue. He removed the caldo from our check. When we approached him upon receipt of the check his obvious distain for us grew. He dishearteningly apologize, and when we asked that he adjust our check his retort was 'what was wrong
with the tacos'. His lack of tact was
appalling as we relayed the rest of our thoughts on the experience. Finally he reluctanly stormed off, yes like a child, adjusted the check and tossed it at us! The only silver lining was Oscar, a server, who actually empathized with our experience and understood our complaint. Save yourself the time and money- avoid this place. Try Aldaco's or el papalote!

This is the most authentic and delicious Mexican food this side of the Rio Grand. I lived in Mexico for 3 months and this is REAL Mexican. For those of you who have never had REAL Mexican food, this is a MUST! You'll love the great flavors and being a healthy person, its a lot healthier than Tex Mex.

Try the ceviche tostadas! MUY BIEN!
