12/31/1990 12:00 amIs there a better way to make a special occasion truly memorable? Every moment and every morsel at our last visit was outstanding. The setting and service complement meticulously prepared food. Wait staff is attentive, accommodating and knowledgable without being unctuous. Wine reasonable. Two of us shared the veal rib entree - no, three, because it was such a generous portion that our dog feasted on leftovers for days. Pricey but good value. |

01/14/2013 12:00 amExpensive, but a memory worth having. You will enjoy the open kitchen and the amazing treats that come out from there. This is a place of mover and shakers, but for one evening, treat yourself and pretend you are a corporate CEO on an expense account. I enjoy it the both times I visited; if you are on a budget, than go to Central for less sophistication but great food on another level. Both great. |

02/11/2012 4:31 amDon't overspend on Palena and Marcel's and instead dine at Citronelle. The group that I was with tried the tasting menu with wine pairing and every dish was excellent and two were exceptional - pasta with foie gras (and I usually hate it) and the 60 hour slow cooked short rib. It's hard to justify the $$$$$ but it's an experience that everyone loved. |
